Spinney Avenue C of E School, Widnes

During the past six months we have supported Spinney Avenue C of E School in revitalising their school garden.  A combined effort of parents, teachers, families of pupils and volunteers from our Society, worked one morning during the October half term to clear the garden of its weeds and rubbish. The result has been very encouraging, and we have now over the past weeks been able to help with the planting of a variety of vegetables.  There are plans to sow wild flower seeds, and with the help ...
