Throughout the year we organise a series of events to share our love of horticulture, the great outdoors and wildlife.  We are always open to new ideas.

 Current social events planned are:

Wednesday 9th October 2019 Social Event at the Halton Stadium 7.00pm . Ashleigh Scott of St Peter and Paul School and Angela Ball will speak on "The Tatton Experience" with both the School and the Society show gardens at RHS Tatton.  Hot pot supper £10 for members , £12 for non-members.

Wednesday 11th December 2019 Christmas Social at the Karalius Suite, Halton Stadium 7.00pm.  Entertainment  from the Torrid Star Productions Choir with Seasonal Music. Hot pot supper £10 for members , £12 for non-members.

Wednesday 12th February 2020  Social Event  with Hot pot supper at the Karalius Suite, Halton Stadium 7.00pm. Stuart Hatton of the Cheshire Beekeepers Association will speak on 'Planting for Bees'  Stuart gave us a very entertaining and informative talk on the life of bees in 2019.  This talk will concentrate on plants to grow to attract bees.  Costs to be confirmed.  

Wednesday April 22nd 2020. Social Event  with Hot pot supper at the Karalius Suite, Halton Stadium 7.00pm.   Clare Olver of Mersey Forest will speak on 'Why we need more trees'  Costs to be confirmed.

Saturday 20th June 2020.  Visit to David Austin Rose Gardens at Albrighton.  Entry free.  Transport details to be confirmed.

Saturday 25th July  2020. Visit to Arley Hall Gardens and afternoon tea.  £7 for entry to gardens.  Transport & afternoon tea details to be confirmed.

Wednesday 14th October 2020. Social Event  with Hot pot supper at the Karalius Suite, Halton Stadium 7.00pm.   Paul O'Byrne, Former Head Gardener of Plas Newydd, Anglesey will speak on 'The Winter Garden'  Costs to be confirmed.

Non members are very welcome.
